 2014年“标本:传统与现代的对话”公共艺术展于2014年12月7日在朱家角艺术馆及整个古镇精彩呈现。喜玛拉雅美术馆、上海视觉艺术学院公共艺术系和上海证大朱家角艺术馆共同主办此次活动。丁乙及上海视觉艺术学院公共艺术系的75个学生、朱家角艺术馆驻馆艺术家莱纳•普罗哈斯卡(奥地利)、柏睿安(美国)、黎明海(香港)用公共艺术媒介对话传统。

开幕当天,在朱家角艺术馆内举办了“标本:传统与现代的对话”公共艺术展的论坛,丁乙表示,公共艺术就是现场发生,融入现场,被人们认知,然后消失,它并不是永久的。论坛现场艺术家莱纳•普罗哈斯卡、柏睿安及参展学生代表也各自讲述了作品的创作过程及背后的故事。

上海证大朱家角艺术馆在2013年就举办了“水与空间对话”公共艺术项目,探讨水对城市环境与城市文化的意义,得到了普遍的好评,而今年的“标本:传统与现代的对话”项目则着眼历史演变中的文化变迁,参展艺术家对古镇进行了长期调研:贴满墙面的票据陶瓷记录着中国人生活的变迁节点;对古桥用新媒介的装点,引发观众对历史古迹的凝视和对比;用中药渣铺成的河流再布以不规则的石块蔓延着历史的味道;喷酒装置营成的米酒清香溢满了深巷。

证大朱家角艺术馆是喜玛拉雅美术馆位于古镇朱家角的一处分馆,一直致力于公共艺术的推广和国际艺术家之间的交流。主办方欢迎观众参与到此次公共艺术项目中,同时也希望把公共艺术展做成公共艺术节,让很好地保存了江南历史文化传统的水乡朱家角活起来。




2014朱家角公共艺术节-学生作品介绍

作品一:《脚手架景观》

作品介绍:常见的脚手架与蕴含朱家角文化的诗歌相融合,运用灯光装置将两种原本常见却又互无关联的事物赋予了新的视觉感官。它即是一个实景,又或许是一件现成品;它试图整合某种形式,又告诉你这种形式的不确定性。

作品二:《碎瓷微景观》

作品介绍:传统的青花瓷器以碎片的方式表达,附着于建筑外立面的窗沿、门沿之边际,碎瓷爬上了人群栖息的现代空间。它是传统,是过去又是今天。它以微见大,在某种状态下他属于整个世界。

作品三:《生与死》

作品介绍:树木与板凳的契合点在于它们本源“树”。重组老式板凳,并以抽象组合的方式成为千年古银杏树的根须,与树身结合并延伸至大地,相互共存融合。抽象、无规则的雕塑与树的结合,表现出的冲突感被材料的属性与拟人化的根须图形所化解。作品中延伸出来的根须亦可作为公共座椅。

作品四:《酒香》

作品介绍:传统酿米酒的方法一直延续至今,这种通过手艺人反复推敲酝酿的液体大多封闭在容器中进行保存。开封后的米酒带给人们的是那一抹舌尖上的回甘以及荡漾在手持器皿中的碰触低吟。然而《酒香》这件作品将这种记载着淳朴手工艺的液体与现代的科技(超声波雾化器)结合,使得这种液体微醺的香味以一种汽态弥漫的方式呈现。液体承载的内涵蕴意自会穿透烟雾,辗转古今,与交集的人们互相接纳,暖慰心灵。

作品五:《鲤鱼》

作品介绍:红色锦鲤鱼以其独具的阳刚之美被人们所喜爱,以至被冠以“观赏鱼之王”的美誉。借用“鲤鱼跳龙门”的吉祥语,预示着朱家角将会有一个更好的发展前景和未来。同时穿墙而过的效果,将带给人们强烈的视觉效果。

作品六:《包亭》

作品介绍:一个色彩的空间。人的视觉因色彩而产生变化。人置身于色彩之中,通过色彩覆盖全身,色彩不光是刺激人的视觉,在这样的环境下也可以刺激人的肌肤,通过视觉到大脑,则会对心里产生空间冷暖的暗示。

作品七:《廊桥》

作品介绍:镜面材质是现代工业化的产物,很多现代建筑体会使用到这样的材料。而这样的材质在传统建筑上是不可能出现的。我们希望让现代建筑的金属材质与传统木质结构的廊桥相碰撞,形成一种对话。

镜面使廊桥反射了湖面及两侧的街景。路上的行人及湖面上的游船都可以看到廊桥所反射的景象。远看街景与廊桥的景象重叠,又像是湖景的延伸,不知是桥还是景。通过廊桥的行人可以看到自己及内景的反射效果,同时扩大了内部的空间感。

作品八:《票根》

作品介绍:7,80年代人们通过使用票根来换取家里用的必需品,票根作为一种获交换的媒介使用,在那个年代中,票根是每个人生活必不可少的东西。

其中也有属于朱家角的票根,这些票根承载着很多属于这里的记忆。我们想通过现代的方式重新展现这些票根,把它做到瓷砖上装饰在现在朱家角的食品店铺门口的墙面上,让朱家角的人们能再去感受属于曾经记忆深处的回忆,也让现在来到朱家角的人们可以去体会这曾经的历史印记。人们可以在观看这些粮票的同时收藏印有票根的明信片。让现在的人与过去的文化形成对话。

作品九《彩虹》

作品介绍:彩虹的形成需要阳光,空气与水,三者缺一不可,如同朱家角作为标本的存在,传统与现代的既是对立的也是不可分割的。作品利用物理学对自然光的分解将生活中触不可及的事物转化为可观的事物,完成传统与现代的对话。

作品十《古镇话筒》

作品介绍:走在朱家角的街道里经常能听见独居特色的江南小调从各处传来,所以我们萌发了做有关江南小调的声音装置。我们打算收集属于江南地方特色的一些曲子,把这些曲子与一些现代音乐编辑在一起装在音响设备中,藏匿在大树上。这些声音装置将会遍布朱家角的旅游景点的树上,这些声音将通过话筒传达。树上的话筒会吸引人们的注意,会使人想要拿起听筒来听听里面的声音。

作品十一《静物窗》

作品介绍:老物件沉淀了岁月并赋予了记忆,是拥有故事的历史实体记忆。它们散落在家家户户,随着时代的发展而慢慢退出日常生活,它们像非物质文化遗产,我们应给予关注和保留!

During this period, a workshop will be held at Shanghai Himalayas Museum, to help visitors gain a better understanding of the distinctiveness of contemporary art made in Scotland, its grass-roots spirit and keen debates with the social dimensions of art and culture.

    After a month-long open call for the Shanghai Himalayas Museum Artist-in-Residences 2016 Gwangju Program, we are pleased to announce that we have selected two gifted Chinese artists, Shanghai-based Xu Zhifeng and Beijing-based Xie Yi, from the 49 applications we received, to embark on a journey to Korea as this years artists in residence.

    Congratulations to the two artists and a warm thank-you to all the artists who applied for the open call.

    1983 born Xu Zhifeng is an interdisciplinary artist based in Shanghai and holds a bachelor of architecture from the College of Fine Arts of Shanghai University.

    Since 2014, Shanghai Himalayas Art Museum has established the long-term strategic collaborative relationship with the Gwangju Museum of Art. Gwangju Museum of Art has recommended many Korean artists to the Shanghai programme, such as Lee Jeong Lok, Kim Dong A, Li Shixuan, Zheng Guangxi, Sobin Park, Ryu Eun, etc. We have also recommended many Chinese artists to Korea, such as Guan Huaibin, Zhang Aidong, You Si, Zhang Qiushi, Zhan Jia, Hu Jiayi, Zhao Jingyan, and Zheng Haozhong.


    On the occasion of Gwangju Biennial and SeMA Biennale Mediacity Seoul, the museum will provide 3 months of exchange programme this year for the young artists in China during late August to mid-November.

  • Grotto No.275 will leave Shanghai on Jan.4, 2016

    (2015年12月24日)目前正在上海喜玛拉雅美术馆“敦煌:生灵的歌”展出中的敦煌最早窟室之一北凉第275窟复制窟将于2016年1月4日提前撤离上海,元旦三天小长假将是最后观看此窟的时机。

    此次来到上海展的8个窟室中,北凉第275窟是莫高窟最早的洞窟之一,其建筑形制为长方形殿堂窟,窟正壁(西壁)塑高3.40米的弥勒菩萨像,扬掌交脚坐狮子座上,是敦煌众窟室中鲜有的交脚坐菩萨。

    据主办方消息,该窟室本由于紧张的展出安排最初并未包含在此次上海展中,经其与敦煌研究院的协商,最终达成近一个月的展出安排。此后,该窟室将先返回敦煌,为其5月份美国盖蒂博物馆的展出做提前运输等准备。北凉275窟提前撤除后,美术馆将以纪录片以及线上展示的方式,继续为公众展示其艺术魅力。

    此次上海喜玛拉雅美术馆的“敦煌:生灵的歌”展览是近年来最大型的敦煌展览,包含8个在敦煌也未全开放的最具艺术价值敦煌石窟,16件国家一级文物,敦煌学的奠基者常书鸿、段文杰等人的临摹作品等共计165件来自敦煌的珍品,也是敦煌研究院首次在国内与民营美术馆合作,并将当代艺术的新鲜血液带入展览之中。除引进专业来自敦煌的导览员每天定时安排免费导览之外,美术馆亦在每周三延长开放至晚间9点,并组织呈现不同的特别活动。

    开展以来,整个江浙沪地区亦是掀起一股敦煌热,喜玛拉雅美术馆门口也是常常排起长队。主办方建议合理安排观展时间,完整看完此展览至少需要2个小时,如能安排平日观展的观众,建议平日参观,一来门票相对便宜,二来人流相比周末较宽松,等候时间也相比较短。此展览将持续至2016年3月20日,但想要看275窟的观众,请抓住最后时机。
